LCI Cloud Guardians Free Cybersecurity Training is an 8-week virtual learning program designed to equip beginners and aspiring professionals with practical cybersecurity and cloud security skills. The program focuses on ethical defense, real-world tools, and hands-on labs, not theory alone.
This initiative is part of LCI’s mission to build a strong global community of cybersecurity defenders, regardless of background, location, or prior experience. Participation in the training itself is completely free.
Who is this program for?
The LCI Cloud Guardians program is open to anyone with an interest in cybersecurity and cloud security, including:
Beginners with no prior cybersecurity experience
Students, graduates & career switchers
Tech enthusiasts & IT beginners
No prior certification is required. A laptop, internet access, and willingness to learn are strongly recommended.
Training structure & schedule
The program runs for 8 weeks and holds every Saturday through live virtual sessions. Each training day consists of two structured sessions:
Session A – Theory
Guided explanations, slides, concepts, and demonstrations.
Session B – Practical Labs
Hands-on labs using real cybersecurity tools and environments.

Assessment, certification & community support
At the end of the program, participants complete a self-paced assessment designed to evaluate both understanding and practical skills.
Participants who pass the assessment will be eligible to download a Hands-On Cybersecurity Training (HCTC) digital badge, shareable on LinkedIn and professional platforms.
An optional Community Support Pack is available for interested participants, which includes graduation, verifiable certificate, alumni access, mentorship opportunities, and LCI-branded materials. Participation in the training itself remains completely free.
